MY PALS

MY PALS aims to inculcate in children positive attitudes towards diversity and mixed abilities. It is a programme that works towards enhancing the acceptance and integration of persons with special needs in our community. MY PALS comprises of an exhange programme where children from mainstream pre-school will buddy with students with multiple disabilities at Rainbow Centre. The buddies will visit each other in their educational settings, experience a part of the school day with their pals, and exchange ideas and gifts. It is our hope that bridges thus built will bud into friendships of understanding and appreciation of mixed abilities. MY PALS is facilitated by The Rainbow Centre Training & Consultancy Team.
