Introduction to our Training Programmes

RCTC offers the following programmes and services:

• Certificate Courses for educators and professionals (endorsed by MCYS), that train teachers in skills to manage an integrated setting
• Customised Training &Consultancy Services on topics related to Special Education, Early Intervention and Effective Integration of Children
• Hanen Parent Training Workshops
• Disability Awareness Programme at Public Libraries (for patrons), primary and secondary schools for students and teachers to instill an understanding and acceptance of disabled members in the community
• MY PALS, a programme to inculcate in young children positive attitudes towards diversity and mixed abilities. It comprises an exchange programme where children from a mainstream preschool will buddy with children with the Rainbow Centre schools.

Collaborations with Other Agencies

• RCTC is also involved in the development and training of professional training programmes with the Social Service Training Institute (SSTI), Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Indocare in Jakarta, Indonesia
• RCTC team is involved in the Advanced Diploma and Certificate in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) programmes.
