Soak in the fun with Emily Lin, aqua fitness instructor and senior physiotherapist, as she introduces aqua fitness combined with the Halliwick method through games, songs and activities to encourage physical activity for persons with special needs. Over 7 sessions, members will be able to strengthen joints and muscles in low impact aquatic movement, improve balance and stability, maintain cardiovascular fitness, create awareness of body rotational control and foster water confidence.

Aquafitness Instructor Profile: Emily Lim

Emily Lim is a senior physiotherapist and also a former special needs educator for 7 years, who is passionate about hydrotherapy as part of rehabilitation for her patients. Outside work, Emily volunteers with Special Olympics Singapore as Healthy Athletes Clinical Director, and provides hydrotherapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
