[Activity is suspended in the light of enhanced safe distancing measures for COVID-19.]

Persons with special needs and their caregivers can participate in this series of values-based art and craftwork classes. They will learn skills such as:

  • Landscape painting (Easel included – participants can bring home and display their painting)
  • Portrait painting (Participants are encouraged to have fun with the theme: Superhero in my family)
  • Craft shop (Participants will get the chance to make their own wallet)
  • Glass painting (Participants can bring home their own personalised vase/candle holder)

These classes, held in partnership with social enterprise artSE, aim to creatively stimulate one’s mind and improve communication via art expression. Participants will also gain practical craftsman skills to create their own homeware and personal products, with the possibility of building a micro-business for economic and social participation in future. In addition, these classes also aim to help one develop mental wellness and find respite in everyday life.
