We are looking for a Project Manager who manages organization-level projects, covering a broad spectrum of topics and/or responsibility areas as assigned by the Sponsor or Driver of the initiative. The postholder will be for our Strategic Initiative 1.2 MOVES, which aims to design personalized mobility solutions to provide accessible learning and participation to students with challenges in accessing community facilities.

The postholder plays a key role in project management, change management, alignment of processes, and ensuring smooth implementation of the initiative in the three schools (Yishun Park, Margaret Drive and Admiral Hill).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and facilitate the development and acceptance of the project objectives and goals.
  • Communications & Reporting which involves establishing and implementing an effective communication strategy that contributes to the project deliverable, and progress reporting
  • Leading the project team members in Project Execution, strategically managing each phase of the project including risk mitigation, annual budget planning and reporting and vendor procurement activities. It also includes working cross-functionally to solve problems and to support in implementing changes with stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a NIE Diploma in Special Education (DISE)
  • At least 1 year post-DISE teaching experience in similar setting
  • Quick thinking and multi-skilled professional with great communication, collaboration and multi-tasking abilities
  • A natural self-starter who has an extraordinary commitment to community engagement and a collaborative work ethic
  • Comfortable working with middle management and above
