About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
a. To conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for the students, including complex cases.
b. To be involved in behavioural intervention for the students, including complex cases.
c. To work with parents, teachers and a multidisciplinary team of other specialists/therapists.
d. To conduct training programmes for staff and parents.
e. To lead projects and participate in developing protocols and clinical guidelines to improve services.
f. To ensure the coordination, development, and delivery of quality, client-centred psychological services to meet the needs of the students and the objectives of the organisation.
g. To identify training needs and professional development opportunities and provide clinical and case supervision to junior psychologists.
- A Master’s degree in Applied Psychology (Educational or Clinical).
- Registered in Singapore Register of Psychologists with the Singapore Psychological Society.
- 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in working with children and youth with special needs/disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
