Our special schools provide quality education for students aged 7-18 years old to support their learning needs and maximise their potential.
We are looking for a Senior Teacher to join our Special Education team. He/she will lead a teaching team to plan, deliver and evaluate the teaching and learning of the students in his/her care, while promoting the team’s growth and development.
Responsibilities will include leading and modelling quality teaching and learning for the teaching team, facilitating collaboration with allied professionals, caregivers and other stakeholders, as well as guiding the team towards excellence in curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices.
- Diploma in Special Education
- Minimum 6 years experience as a classroom teacher in a similar setting
Preferred Knowledge / Skills:
- Able to coach and guide teachers and lead peers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with various stakeholders, and to foster a collaborative atmosphere within the teaching team
