About the Role
About Rainbow Centre’s Talent Art Programme
The Talent Art Programme (TAP) is a flagship programme run by Rainbow Centre’s Enterprise and Vocational Development (EVD) department. TAP aims to provide our differently-abled students who are 15-18 year olds with autism or multiple disabilities, an opportunity to use art as a form of self-expression and vocational fulfilment. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join an expanding team. He/She will understand how to use art to make work possible for our aspiring students.
Key responsibilities include:
a. Conduct art training classes for Talent Art Programme (TAP) students.
b. Plan and curate range of programmes for TAP students.
c. Develop each TAP student in area(s) of art with vocational relevance and opportunities for work.
d. Develop partnerships and source for opportunities for collaborations to allow TAP students to showcase their talents and learn.
e. Other programme-related duties such as handling enquiries on art commissioning, product sales, etc.
f. Contribute to and manage all SOPs and admin for TAP.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Degree in any major.
- Visual arts portfolio preferred.
- Strong in spoken and written communication skills
- Comfortable and able to work with students with autism and multiple disabilities
